Revisión de las relaciones entre Ciberfeminismo y Net.Art desde una perspectiva de género

    El net.art o arte de Internet ha supuesto, para muchas artistas, la posibilidad de plantear claras y contundentes reivindicaciones en relación con el cuestionamiento de roles tradicionales de género. Todo ello, habida cuenta de la facilidad en la difusión de las propuestas artísticas, unido al fenómeno emergente de la creación de comunidades virtuales de artistas, basadas en estructuras horizontales antes impensables. Se busca por ello aplicar una metodología de estudio de casos con la finalidad de analizar este fenómeno desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad, enmarcando así el Net.art y su relación con el Ciberfeminismo como fenómenos culturales, pero también con fuertes implicaciones tecnológicas y sociales, al estar ambos asociados a Internet. A partir del Manifiesto Ciborg de Donna Haraway, el Manifesto Cyberfeminista del grupo VNS Matrix, el Primer Encuentro Internacional Ciberfeminista en el seno de la Documenta X de Kassel, el Cybergrrl-ism o las Old Boys Network (OBD), pensadoras como R. Braidotti, F. da Rímini o V. Kuni plantean un revisionismo profundo del papel de la mujer dentro de la sociedad tecnológica en la que nos ha tocado vivir. Se propone verificar que la máxima de la ¿escultura social¿ postulada por Beuys, se hace ahora realidad en relación con la participación de las mujeres en el arte de internet y sus implicaciones socio-políticas y culturales.

    The net.art or art of the Internet has meant, for many artists, the possibility of raising clear and forceful demands in relation to the questioning of roles traditional gender. All this, given the ease in the dissemination of artistic proposals, coupled with the emerging phenomenon of community-building artists, based on previously unthinkable horizontal structures. It is therefore sought to apply a case study methodology in order to analyze this phenomenon from its origins to the present day, framing thus the Net.art and its relationship with Cyberfeminism as cultural phenomena, but also with strong technological and social implications, being both associated with Internet. From Donna Haraway's Ciborg Manifesto, the VNS Matrix Cyberfeminist Manifesto, the First International Cyberfeminist Meeting within Kassel's Documenta X, Cybergrrl-ism or the Old Boys Network (OBD), thinkers such as R. Braidotti, F. da Rimini or V. Kuni propose a deep revisionism of the role of women within the technological society in which we have lived. It is proposed to verify that the maxim of the "social sculpture" postulated by Beuys, is now made a reality in relation to the participation of women in the art of the Internet and its socio-political and cultural implications.
