Afectaciones Ocasionadas por el COVID-19 en el Ámbito Laboral en México

    Derivado de los estragos generados del virus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) en las empresas a nivel mundial, el sector laboral en México no quedó exento de verse afectado, sin embargo, las personas quienes día a día están desempeñándose laboralmente son las que tuvieron que, a pesar de los contagios, salir adelante de esta situación histórica en el mundo. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar las afectaciones ocasionadas por el COVID-19 en el ámbito laboral en México. La metodología utilizada para el desarrollo del presente fue documental con apoyo bibliográfico y explicativo. Se realizó un análisis profundo de distintos autores que aportaron sobre el tema, así como la generación y aplicación del conocimiento. Los principales resultados encontrados indican que México se encuentra posicionado como uno de los países con un nivel de productividad muy bajo en proporción al producto interno bruto (PIB), por otro lado, se tiene que las horas perdidas en el año 2020, donde México registró el mayor número de horas, y en el 2021 disminuyó de manera importante, impactando de manera positiva en beneficio de los distintos sectores laborales.

    Due to the havoc caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) in businesses worldwide, the labor sector in Mexico was not exempt from being affected. However, the individuals who are working day by day were the ones who had to overcome this historic global situation despite the infections. The objective of this research was to analyze the impact of COVID-19 on the labor sector in Mexico. The methodology used for the development of this study was documentary with bibliographical and explanatory support. A thorough analysis of various authors who contributed to the topic was conducted, along with the generation and application of knowledge. The main findings indicate that Mexico is positioned as one of the countries with very low productivity levels in proportion to the gross domestic product (GDP). On the other hand, there were hours lost in 2020, where Mexico recorded the highest number of hours, and in 2021, it significantly decreased, positively impacting various labor sectors.
