Desde principios del siglo XIII catalano-aragoneses y castellanoleoneses confluirían en sus conquistas en el Levante peninsular. A pesar del acuerdo de Cazola se producirían incursiones de unos y otros, sobre el territorio adjudicado en los tratados.
