Resumen de A participação feminina no conselho federal de educação do Brasil: Uma análise qualitativa

  The main objective of the study is to identify the participation of women in the Federal Council of Education (CFE), the normative body of Brazilian education, working in the chambers of basic and higher education. On a more specific level, we sought to verify the presence of women and their representativeness in a mostly male collegiate, considering that, in the decades analyzed, particularly while the CFE existed, in the years 1961 to 1995, the number of women who exercised the teaching was far superior to that of men in the same functions. It is a qualitative study, which refers to gender research, having as main sources official documents that record who these women were, how they arrived at the CFE and how they work in the highest education body in the country. It is concluded that the presence of women in this collegiate was always related to a male support, in addition to their trajectories being secondary to that of men who held office at the same time.

  O objetivo central do estudo é identificar a participação das mulheres no Conselho Federal de Educação (CFE), órgão normativo da educação brasileira, atuando nas Câmaras de Educação básica e superior. Em um plano mais específico, buscou-se verificar a presença feminina e a sua representatividade em um colegiado majoritariamente masculino, considerando que, nas décadas analisadas, particularmente enquanto o CFE existiu, os anos de 1961 a 1995, o número de mulheres que exerciam o magistério era bastante superior ao de homens nas mesmas funções. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, que remete a pesquisas de gênero, tendo como principais fontes documentos oficiais que registram quem eram essas mulheres, como chegaram ao CFE e como atuavam no órgão máximo da educação no país. Conclui-se que a presença das mulheres neste colegiado estava sempre relacionada a uma sustentação masculina, além de suas trajetórias serem secundarizadas em relação a dos homens que exerceram mandatos na mesma época.
