    Una clave conceptual relevante para comprender la trayectoria intelectual de Juan Carlos Rodríguez, que abarca desde los años setenta hasta las primeras décadas del siglo xxi, es la del cuerpo y su historicidad. La preocupación por el cuerpo inaugura sus primeras investigaciones acerca de la literatura del siglo xvi y se hace ubicua en lo sucesivo. Rodríguez se embarcó en la empresa de trazar una historia de la subjetividad detallando qué nociones de cuerpo brotaron en cada una de sus formulaciones, al tiempo que reivindicaba la dimensión material de la ideología. Vistos en perspectiva, sus ensayos arrojan un relato de las lógicas que han ido conformando los cuerpos, que este artículo rastrea.

    A relevant conceptual key to understanding Juan Carlos Rodríguez's intellectual trajectory, which spans from the 1970s to the first decades of the 21st century, is that of the body and its historicity. Concern for the body inaugurated his early research into the literature of sixteenth century and became ubiquitous thereafter. Rodriguez embarked on the enterprise of tracing a history of subjectivity by detailing the notions of the body that emerged in each of its formulations, while claiming the material dimension of ideology. Seen in perspective, his essays provide an account of the logics that have been shaping bodies, which this article explores.
