Resumen de Esfuerzo y precariedad. Empleos y edificio del Congreso Provincial de Entre Ríos: notas sobre la decada de 1830

El presente artículo analizó dos cuestiones relacionadas con la trama institucional entrerriana de la década de 1830: los empleos y el edificio del Congreso Provincial. El tema no ha sido suficientemente advertido por la historiografía del período. Sin embargo, en los últimos años se presentaron algunos trabajos, ubicados en otras etapas históricas y en otros territorios, donde se intentó de pensar estas cuestiones con relación a la construcción del estado. La hipótesis, muy inicial por cierto, que guió nuestro estudio, es que el tema de los empleos y de los edificios institucionales si bien presentaron muchas dificultades, ellos no impidieron que el dominio legislativo funcione. Hecho que nos habla sobre algunas cuestiones relacionadas con las instituciones y su relación con el mundo de los empleos y la situación edilicia, el cual resultó útil para pensar qué tipo de instituciones funcionan, cómo lo hacen, pero también qué tipo de trabajos se presentan en ellas y qué mundo social y profesional determinan. Las fuentes utilizadas correspondieron particularmente al Archivo de la Provincia de Entre Ríos, fueron las que ofrece el Fondo de Gobierno. Si bien no hubo una serie documental sobre el tema específico que aquí analizamos, sí hubo información diversa en la correspondencia entre el Poder Ejecutivo y el Poder Legislativo, a su vez, resultó de utilidad la documentación sobre el Ministerio de Gobierno, como así también las memorias y testimonios de viajeros.

The present article analysed two issues related to the institutional fabric of the 1830s: jobs and the building of Provincial Congress. The subject has not been sufficiently dealt with by the historiography of the period. However, in the last few years some studies were presented, set in other historical stages and other territories and these questions were considered in relation to the construction of the state. Firstly, the hypothesis that guided our study is that the issue of jobs and institutional buildings, despite the many difficulties they present, did not prevent the functioning of the legislative domain. This leads us to some questions related to the institutions and their relationship with the world of jobs and the building situation. This is useful to know which type of institutions function, how they did so, but also what type of work was done there and what sort of social and professional world was determined herein. The sources used corresponded in particular with the Archive of the Province of Entre Ríos, offered by the Government. There was no documental series on the theme here analysed, but there was diverse information on the correspondence between the Executive Power and the Legislative Power. Moreover, the documentation on the Government Ministry turned out to be useful as were the memoires and testimonies of travellers.
