    • It is essential to modernize the teaching-learning process by incorporating new information technologies and active methodologies that allow the student to play a leading role. This work reflects the commitment of several professors in the area of marketing at the University of Oviedo to update their subjects.The task begins with the subject of Commercial Research in which, based on the evaluations and suggestionsreceived in a satisfaction survey carried out in the 2022/2023 academic year and a review of the literatureregarding certain tools to be used in the classroom, three proposals for change are proposed: the recording ofvideos by students as information pills, the use of gamification in some theory classes and in group tutorialsand the use of Flipped Classroom in laboratory practices. This research shows in detail the implementationof these proposals and how the effectiveness of these changes will be assessed. We hope that at the end of theacademic year 2023/2024 the students’ opinions will be positive, which will allow us to extend these methodological innovations to other subjects in the area
