    As Benjamin Franklin said, “integrity is the foundation on which all other virtues stand”. Law is recognized the social function of guarantor of coexistence. Law assumes the role of enshrining those social values that society considers desirable and of guaranteeing their effective protection in everyday life. Trust is one of the most stable and indisputable social values, and corruption, in the broadest sense of the term, strikes directly at this sense of public confidence. Recently, the Romanian Parliament adopted a new Law on higher education, which may contribute to strengthening an ethical climate in the education system in Romania. It needs to be firmly enforced, as academic integrity is one of the core values on which education is built, along with equity, excellence, professionalism, respect, flexibility, diversity, inclusion, transparency, and accountability. Nevertheless, legislation alone cannot guarantee their real existence of Integrity in social and academic life. Integrity is ensured by providing value landmarks and promoting ethics in education. The solution, in our opinion, lies not only in Law, but also in Axiological Education

    Como dijo Benjamín Franklin, “la integridad es la base sobre la que se asientan todas las demás virtudes”. De adăugat paragraful albastru. Recientemente, el Parlamento rumano adoptó una nueva Ley sobre educación superior, que puede contribuir a fortalecer un clima ético en el sistema educativo de Rumania. Debe aplicarse con firmeza, ya que la integridad académica es uno de los valores fundamentales sobre los que se construye la educación, junto con la equidad, la excelencia, el profesionalismo, el respeto, la flexibilidad, la diversidad, la inclusión, la transparencia y la rendición de cuentas. Sin embargo, la legislación por sí sola no puede garantizar su existencia real de integridad en la vida social y académica. La integridad se garantiza proporcionando puntos de referencia de valor y promoviendo la ética en la educación. La solución, a nuestro juicio, no está sólo en el Derecho, sino también en la Educación Axiológica.
