Resumen de Influence of low Socioeconomic level on the deficiency of dental brushing in school children

  Introducción: El nivel socioeconómico bajo es el mayor responsable de un cepillado dental deficiente, ya que muchos niños escolares no cuentan con información sobre un correcto cepillado dental. El objetivo de este presente artículo es determinar si el nivel socioeconómico bajo influye en el deficiente cepillado dental en niños escolares. Metodos: La búsqueda fue realizada del 23 al 30 de mayo del 2022, en artículos no mayor a 10 años de antigüedad, tomando como rango los años 2012 al 2022; las bases de datos revisadas fueron ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Scopus, PubMed y EBSCO, se usó los operadores boleanos AND y OR y se usaron tres combinaciones de términos libres y términos estandarizados. Los resultados fueron registrados en un diagrama de flujo PRISMA. Resultados: Después de aplicar las palabras de búsquedas se encontraron 3415 investigaciones, donde se aplicaron criterios de exclusion e inclusion, pasando por diferentes filtros se eligieron para su análisis solo 3 de ellos. Los datos encontrados en los artículos pasaron por un proceso de extracción y posteriormente su ordenamiento, siguiendo los estándares de estudio, como metodología y resultados. Conclusión: Como resultados se obtuvo mediante las revisiones a los 3 artículos seleccionados que el factor socioeconómico influye mucho en el cepillado dental del escolar, en el cual, se demostró que no todos cuentan con un cepillo dental para su limpieza oral y los padres de familia tampoco cuentan con la información necesaria para orientar a su niño hacia el correcto uso del cepillo dental.

  Introduction: The low socioeconomic level is the most responsible for poor tooth brushing, since many school children do not have information on correct tooth brushing. The objective of this present article is to determine if the low socioeconomic level influences poor tooth brushing in school children. Methods: The search was carried out from May 23 to 30, 2022, in articles no older than 10 years, taking the years 2012 to 2022 as the range; the databases reviewed were ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Scopus, PubMed and EBSCO, the Boolean operators AND and OR were used and three combinations of free terms and standardized terms were used. The results were recorded in a PRISMA flowchart. Results: After applying the search words, 3415 investigations were found, where exclusion and inclusion criteria were applied, passing through different filters, only 3 of them were chosen for analysis. The data found in the articles went through an extraction process and later its ordering, following the study standards, such as methodology, results. Conclusion: As a result, it was obtained through the reviews of the 3 selected articles that the socioeconomic factor greatly influences the toothbrushing of the schoolchild, in which it was shown that not everyone has a toothbrush for oral cleaning and that parents They also do not have the necessary information to guide your child towards the correct use of the toothbrush.
