Estas reflexiones, desde el punto de vista de un psicoanalista, no pretenden desconocer las múltiples diferencias de las cifras de contagios y de muertes ocurridas al comienzo de la pandemia, ni tampoco hacer un inventario de los muchos cambios que la crisis sanitaria introdujo en nuestras vidas con las variadas manifestaciones de malestar sufrido durante los primeros meses de confinamiento. Me detendré, más bien, en un hecho sencillo y muy extendido, que ha estado en el centro de la cotidianidad de nuestra vida en los meses posteriores, la falta. Tal vez por lo generalizado y porque sus razones parecen justificadas a la mayoría, pasa inadvertido; pero creo que si reparamos en el agujero y asumimos lo que implica, sin renegarlo o ignorarlo radicalmente como si nada hubiera pasado, podría tener importantes consecuencias.
