Resumen de Ser-no-mundo no ensinar e aprender geografia: possibilidades para uma educação geográfica humanista e existencial

  This paper is about the experience of being-in-the-world and the construction of geographic knowledge as an inherent condition of existence. As living beings, we are learning creatures. The teaching of formal Geography is sustained by the built knowledge in the geographic experience of the world, at the same time that it shows, in its way of being, this learning. We defend the potentialities of the teaching of school Geography, recovering the geographicities in schools’ daily life, the school as part of the lived world. Through reading the works of Heidegger (1998, 2009, 2012), Dardel (2011), Wright (2014), and Lowenthal (1982), among others, we will discuss the teaching and the learning from the perspective of a Humanistic and Existential Geography, emphasizing the geographicity and the experience as inherent to the being-in-the-world. The possibilities of teaching and learning Geography, through pedagogical intentionality, present themselves as clearings to recover the sense of the human existence on Earth

  Este artigo é sobre a experiência de ser-no-mundo e da construção do conhecimento geográfico como condição inerente à existência. Enquanto viventes, somos seres aprendentes. O ensino de Geografia formal se sustenta no conhecimento construído na experiência geográfica de mundo, ao mesmo tempo em que mostra, em seu modo de ser, esse aprendizado. Defendemos as potencialidades do ensino de Geografia escolar, recuperando as geograficidades na cotidianidade da escola, esta como parte do mundo vivido. Por meio da leitura das obras de Heidegger (1998, 2009, 2012), Dardel (2011), Wright (2014) e Lowenthal (1982), entre outros, discutiremos o ensino e o aprendizado na perspectiva de uma Geografia Humanista e Existencial, ressaltando a geograficidade e a experiência enquanto inerentes ao ser-no-mundo. As possibilidades de ensinar e aprender Geografia, por meio de uma intencionalidade pedagógica, apresentam-se como clareiras para recuperar o sentido da existência humana sobre a Terra.
