  Este trabajo se centra en la recepción y el tratamiento medievales de las tradiciones grecorromanas transmitidas en latín referentes al ciervo y a su legendario, a partir tanto del salmo 41 de la Vulgata y sus múltiples interpretaciones, como de la literatura zoológica y enciclopédica. Se han tenido en cuenta fundamentalmente las aportaciones de Isidoro de Sevilla, las obras exegéticas y las summae exemplorum, entre otros repertorios y obras singulares.

  This work focuses on the medieval reception and treatment of Greco-Roman traditions transmitted in Latin concerning the deer and its legendary, starting both from Psalm 41 of the Vulgate and its multiple interpretations, as well as zoological and encyclopedic literature. The contributions of Isidore of Seville, the exegetical works and the summae exemplorum, among other repertoires and singular works, have been taken into account.
