    El artículo compara el actual sistema catastral alemán con los varios catastros que contempla nuestra legislación, particularmente, el Catastro de Bienes Nacionales y el del Servicio de Impuestos Internos. La comparación abarca tanto las características que los definen, la relación con el Registro de la Propiedad inmobiliaria y las consecuencias que producen en el tráfico jurídico de los bienes. La finalidad de la comparación es colaborar en la creación de un único Catastro de bienes inmuebles, o bien mejorar los que ya existen, de manera que también haya correspondencia entre la realidad física y la registral en nuestro país.

    The article compares the current German cadastre system with the various cadastres that our legislation contemplates, particularly, the National Assets Cadastre and that of the Internal Revenue Service. The comparison covers both the characteristics that define them, the relationship with the Real Estate Property Registry and the consequences that they produce in the legal traffic of goods. The purpose of the comparison is to collaborate in the creation of a single Real Estate Cadastre or to improve those that already exist, so that there is also a correspondence between the physical reality and the registry in our country.
