El celador de planta se encargará del traslado del paciente desde su habitación a otra área dentro del centro hospitalario, para la realización de pruebas, consultas, RX, etc. siempre bajo la supervisión de médicos y enfermeras. También se encargará del traslado de documentación y mobiliario que le sea requerido por médicos y personal de enfermería.
