    Objetivo: Describir, analizar y comprender las experiencias en el cuidado al paciente con COVID-19 de las familias del área urbana del Distrito de Pimentel, 2022. Métodos: De tipo cualitativa, con abordaje descriptivo. Los sujetos de estudio fueron 15 familiares del área urbana del distrito de Pimentel, que tuvieron un familiar diagnosticado de COVID-19, el tipo de muestreo fue no probabilístico y la muestra por saturación y redundancia. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante una entrevista semiestructurada, validada por juicio de expertos. Los datos fueron analizados mediante el análisis de contenido temático; y para su ejecución se consideró el uso de principios éticos y de rigor científico. Resultados: Surgió como resultados cuatro categorías: sentimientos del familiar frente a la persona enferma con COVID-19, cuidados brindados por la familia al paciente con COVID-19, sintiendo la presencia de dios al cuidar al paciente con COVID-19 y recibiendo apoyo del personal de salud en el cuidado del paciente con COVID-19. Conclusiones: Las experiencias vividas por los familiares fueron llenas de sentimientos y cuidados diarios, buscando siempre el bienestar del paciente y de ellos mismos, acompañando a su familiar durante el proceso de su enfermedad junto con la ayuda del profesional de salud

    Objective: Describe, analyze and understand the experiences in caring for patients with COVID-19 of families in the urban area of ​​the Pimentel District, 2022. Methods: Qualitative, with a descriptive approach. The study subjects were 15 relatives from the urban area of ​​the Pimentel district, who had a relative diagnosed with COVID-19, the type of sampling was non-probabilistic and the sample was saturation and redundancy. Data collection was carried out through a semi-structured interview, validated by expert judgment. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis; and for its execution the use of ethical principles and scientific rigor was demonstrated. Results: Four categories emerged as results: feelings of the family member towards the person sick with COVID-19, care provided by the family to the patient with COVID-19, feeling the presence of God when caring for the patient with COVID-19 and receiving support from the health care staff. health in the care of patients with COVID-19. Conclusions: The experiences lived by the family members were full of feelings and daily care, always seeking the well-being of the patient and themselves, accompanying their family member during the process of their illness along with the help of the health professional.
