A comunidade tradicional pesqueira de Enxu Queimado, localizada no município de Pedra Grande, no Rio Grande do Norte (RN) vem passando por conflitos e conflitualidades que expõem tentativas do avanço do modelo capitalista na apropriação do território. O artigo busca compreender as ações de mobilização realizadas pelos (as) moradores (as) da comunidade organizados lutando para evitar a sua desterritorialização. No processo de ação coletiva, entendemos que esses sujeitos têm o território como objetivo de conquista e essencial para sua existência, portanto, conceituados como um movimento socioterritorial. O desenho metodológico tem caráter qualitativo, ancorado na análise de conteúdo das matérias, referente às notícias em jornais, sites, ou blogs de notícias, levando em consideração as narrativas do movimento e de demais sujeitos envolvidos no conflito, além de entrevistas semiestruturadas com representante da Colônia de Pescadores Z-32 e do Comitê Gestor em Defesa do Território Pesqueiro da Praia de Enxu Queimado. Neste contexto, pode-se inferir que o avanço das práticas capitalistas estabeleceu um conflito socioterritorial que vem atingindo a dinâmica das famílias da comunidade de Enxu Queimado, assim como evidenciou-se que a organização das mulheres foi/é fundamental no enfrentamento aos desígnios e interesse de apropriação do território pelo sistema de acumulação capitalista.
The traditional fishing community of Enxu Queimado, located in the municipality of Pedra Grande, in Rio Grande do Norte (RN) has been going through conflicts and conflicts that expose attempts to advance the capitalist model in the appropriation of the territory. The article seeks to understand the mobilization actions carried out by the organized community residents fighting to avoid their deterritorialization. In the process of collective action, we understand that these subjects have the territory as an objective of conquest and essential for their existence, therefore, conceptualized as a socio-territorial movement. The methodological design has a qualitative character, anchored in the content analysis of the articles, referring to news in newspapers, websites, or news blogs, taking into account the narratives of the movement and other subjects involved in the conflict, in addition to semistructured interviews with a representative of the Colony of Z-32 Fishermen and the Management Committee in Defense of the Fishing Territory of Praia de Enxu Queimado. In this context, it can be inferred that the advance of capitalist practices has established a socio-territorial conflict that has been affecting the dynamics of the families of the community of Enxu Queimado, as well as it has been shown that the organization of women was/is fundamental in confronting the plans and interests of appropriation of the territory by the capitalist system.
