We present the case of a 20-year-old male, smoker, with a history of left pneumothorax with pleural drainage one year ago. He went to the Emergency Department with a right pleuritic chest pain that subsided spontaneously. In the physical examination, he was hemodynamically stable, eupneic, and pain-free. Pulmonary auscultation revealed with hypophonesis in the right lung. With these signs and symptoms, and a personal history, a chest X-ray was performed, observing complete right pneumothorax.
The patient made good progress after insertion of an endothoracic drain.
