    El presente escrito, fechado en julio de 2018, fue hecho llegar a interesados en la obra de Francisco Leocata por la mediación de Gabriel Zanotti. Se trata de una reconsideración general de sus trabajos filosóficos explicitando sus motivaciones y aportes sobre los siguientes tópicos: la filosofía cristiana, la lectura de Descartes, la distinción entre modernidad filosófica e iluminismo, la atención dada a la fenomenología de Husserl, la relación entre lo histórico y lo teorético de sus escritos, y la historia del pensamiento filosófico en Argentina. Se incorporan algunas referencias al texto para facilitar la consulta bibliográfica.

    The present writing, dated July 2018, was made available to those interested in the work of Francesco Leocata through the mediation of Gabriel Zanotti. It is a general reconsideration of his philosophical works making explicit his motivations and contributions on the following topics: Christian philosophy, the reading of Descartes, the distinction between philosophical modernity and enlightenment, the attention given to Husserl's phenomenology, the relationship between the historical and the theoretical in his writings, and the history of philosophical thought in Argentina. Some references are included in the text to facilitate bibliographical consultation.
