A partir del reconocimiento de la excepcionalidad humana a la hora de regular las conductas que permiten a los seres vivos de adaptarse al medio y de sobrevivir, el artículo distingue los fundamentos neurobiológicos que darían cuenta de dicha singularidad y cierra recogiendo los principales criterios que guían distintivamente a lo humano.

Starting from the recognition of the exceptionality of humans with regard to the regulation of the behaviors that allow living beings to adapt to the environment and survive, the article identifies the neurobiological foundations that account for this uniqueness and closes with a summary of the main criteria that distinctively guide human behavior.

A partir del reconeixement de l’excepcionalitat humana a l’hora de regular les conductes que permeten als éssers vius d’adaptar-se al medi i de sobreviure, l’article destria els fonaments neurobiològics que donarien compte de l’esmentada singularitat i clou recollint els principals criteris de regulació que guien distintivament l’humà.
