    El tema central de esta investigación es el “otro” en la cultura helenística. El autor, después de una disquisición filosófica sobre las distintas formas de relacionarse con el “otro”, aborda el tema en nueve historiadores grecolatinos de la época helenística. Señala en cada uno de ellos su inclinación por una visión unívoca de la cultura, equívoca o de integración análoga, tal como estos términos fueron formulados en la introducción.

    The central theme of this research is the “other” in Hellenistic culture. After the author philosophically analyzes the several ways of relating to the “other”, he deals with nine Greco-Roman historians of the Hellenistic age, pointing in each of them to their inclination towards a vision of culture which is univocal, confusing or of analogous integration as these terms are described in the introduction.
