    La cicatrización tanto de tejidos duros como blandos es el objetivo esperado posterior a realizar unaapicectomía, y con este acto se pretende impedir el ingreso y egreso de bacterias del sistema de conductosradiculares, clave para obtener la sanación. Actualmente existen numerosos materiales utilizados para lograrel selle, pero ninguno presenta las características de un material idóneo. El propósito del presente artículo espresentar un caso clínico de apicectomía utilizando Biodentine™ como material de retroobturación.

    The healing of soft and hard tissues is the expected outcome after performing an apicectomy, and one of the keypoints to achieve this healing is having a tridimensional seal that prevents the entrance and outlet of bacteria.Currently there are numerous materials used to this purpose but none has all the characteristics of an idealmaterial. The objective of this article is to present a clinical case of an apicectomy using Biodentine™ as aretrograde filling material.
