En esta entrevista al profesor Gilberto Henostroza conoceremos el porqué de su inclinación a la Odontología Restauradora, cuáles son los logros que ha alcanzado, cuál es su visión y perspectiva, cómo ve esta área en su calidad de docente y sus recomendaciones sobre el programa curricular actual. También conversamos sobre los sistemas adhesivos y su biocompatiblidad con el órgano dental, de los composites y su durabilidad, así como, de las publicaciones en las que ha participado como autor y editor. Finalmente, nos contó cómo surge la Asociación Peruana de Odontología Restauradora y Biomateriales (APORYB) y su contribución a la Odontología en estos 21 años de vida institucional.

In this interview with professor Gilberto Henostroza we will know the reason for his preference to Restorative Dentistry, what achievements this area has reached, what is his vision and perspective, how he conceives this area as a teacher and his recommendations about the curricular program. We also talked about the adhesive systems and their biocompatibility with the dental organ, the composites and their durability, as well as the publications in which he has participated as author and editor. Finally, he told us about the emergence of the Peruvian Association of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials (APORYB) and its contribution to Dentistry in these 21 years of institutional life.
