El gobierno de Rafael Correa ha devenido en ser un gobierno autoritario, producto de las propias prevenciones de las organiza- ciones sociales que lo Ilevaron al poder y que desearon blindar su mandato debido a la reciente historia de inestabilidad política que vivió el Pals. Correa ha consolidado un gobierno centrado en la figura presidencial, desde donde, como los viejos regímenes del socialismo real, se estigmatiza a cualquier voz crítica, se controla la información y se criminaliza la protesta social, alejándose cada vez más del proyecto democrático, con voces diversas, que fue el que disertaron las organizaciones sociales como eje de una verdadera transformación social.

The government of Rafael Correa has become an authoritarian government, a product of the own preventions of the social organizations that took him to power and that wanted to shield his mandate due to the recent history of political instability that the Pals experienced. Correa has consolidated a government centered on the presidential figure, from where, like the old regimes of real socialism, any critical voice is stigmatized, information is controlled and social protest is criminalized, moving away more and more from the democratic project, with voices diverse, that was the one that the social organizations disertaron like axis of a true social transformation.
