  El objetivo general de la investigación fue el análisis crítico jurídico del derecho a la resistencia y de la seguridad jurídica, Ecuador. Los investigadores se plantearon como método el enfoque cuantitativo, mediante la exploración, recolección y análisis crítico desde una tipología documental, apoyada con el diseño bibliográfico, relacionados al juicio del fenómeno y así evaluar o discurrir nuevos argumentos. Al respecto, se examinaron y analizaron fuentes documentales tesis y trabajos arbitrados. Además, se aplicó un cuestionario a 93 abogados en libre ejercicio inscritos en el foro de abogados de la provincia de Tungurahua. Se concluye que, la inaplicabilidad del derecho a la resistencia es un tema de suma preocupación frente a la gravedad de actos que se deslindan de ello, la violación a las garantías constitucionales, el desamparo a la persona o grupo de personas que lo invocan.

  The general objective of the research was the critical legal analysis of the right to resistance and legal security, Ecuador. The researchers proposed as a method the quantitative approach, through the exploration, collection and critical analysis from a documentary typology, supported by the bibliographic design, related to the judgment of the phenomenon and thus evaluate or discuss new arguments. In this regard, documentary sources such as theses and refereed works were examined and analyzed. In addition, a questionnaire was applied to 93 lawyers in free practice registered in the forum of lawyers of the province of Tungurahua. It is concluded that the inapplicability of the right to resistance is a matter of great concern due to the seriousness of the acts that are derived from it, the violation of constitutional guarantees, the abandonment of the person or group of persons who invoke it.
