La investigación tuvo como objetivo, determinar una propuesta de ejecución presupuestaria para mejorar la toma de decisiones en una Municipalidad de zonas con bosques tropicales del Perú: Municipalidad Provincial de Loreto – Nauta, 2022. La investigación fue aplicada con diseño no experimental, cuantitativa, descriptiva y propositiva. La población y muestra estuvo conformado por 56 colaboradores. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario.

The objective of the research was to determine a budget execution proposal to improve decision making in a municipality in a tropical forest area of Peru: Provincial Municipality of Loreto - Nauta, 2022. The research was applied with a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive and propositional design. The population and sample consisted of 56 collaborators. The technique was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. The results indicated that 83.9 % of the collaborators ”never and almost never”participate in the income estimates for the formulation of the institutional budget, they do not register in the SIAF those determined by the issuance of municipal tax coupons. Likewise, 69.6 % stated that they ”never and almost never¸carry out the timely registration in the SIAF of municipal tax collections, 65 % indicated that ”never and almost never¸carry out the timely registration of the financial allocations they receive from the treasury public. Finally, 23.2 % of them stated that ”sometimes.accrued funds do not have financial support and 12.4 % indicated that .almost always and always”they identify problems in the budget execution reports. In conclusion, the budget execution model proposed to the Provincial Municipality of Loreto - Nauta, improves decision-making, according to the evaluation of experts.
