  Se cultivaron secreciones del oído medio de 60 niños con otitis media aguda. En el 66% de los pacientes aislamos bacterias: 29,9% H. Influenzue y 24,9% S. preumonial, como germen Gram predominante. Se realizaron estudios sobre sensibilidad y farmacoterapia. Se encontró que la mejor combinación de sulfa-benzetacilo, aunque la amoxicilina sigue siendo el tratamiento oral de elección.

  Secretions from the medium ear of 60 children with acute otitis media were cultured. In 66% of the patients we isolated bacteria: 29.9% H. Influenzue and 24.9% S. preumonial, as the Gram-predominant-germ. Studies were made on sensitivity and drug therapy. Sulfa-benzetacil was found the best combination, although amoxicillin continues to be the oral treatment of choice.
