    Este artículo pretende analizar la participación en el mercado laboral en la ciudad de Cali abarcando el cuarto trimestre de 2021. Durante esta temporada, se celebran varias festividades, esto impulsa el comercio y las ventas, lo que a su vez genera un aumento en la demanda de empleados. Para esto, en primera instancia, se decidió con qué variables trabajar, las cuales se extrajeron de la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares 2021, tras un breve análisis de cada variable se realizó un modelo lineal para determinar el comportamiento de estas variables. Se realizaron alternativas para el modelo lineal con el fin de elegir el que mejor ayudará al objetivo del artículo y se analizó la dirección de relación del nuevo modelo.

    This article aims to analyze labor market participation in the city of Cali, encompassing the fourth quarter of 2021. During this season, several festivities are celebrated, which boosts commerce and sales, thereby generating an increase in the demand for employees. To achieve this, in the first instance, it was decided which variables to work with, extracted from the Integrated Household Survey of 2021. After a brief analysis of each variable, a linear model was constructed to determine the behavior of these variables. Alternative models to the linear model were also developed to choose the one that best serves the article's objective, and the direction of the relationship in the new model was analyzed.
