Resumen de La Jefatura del Estado ante la fragmentación parlamentaria: una mirada a la Segunda República

Una de las cuestiones que, en los últimos tiempos, ha cobrado relieve y actualidad es la referente al papel del jefe del Estado en lo que afecta a la investidura del Presidente del Gobierno, especialmente cuando el arco parlamentario se presenta profundamente fragmentado. Esta coyuntura, aunque no se había dado en nuestra vigente democracia hasta fechas muy recientes, sí lo fue en nuestro pasado cercano, especialmente en la II República. En este artículo se centrará la atención en la jefatura del Estado republicana ante la difícil situación de afrontar los problemas derivados de un parlamento con un mosaico de fuerzas políticas, lo que permitirá poner en perspectiva la delicada relación entre las instituciones que, ahora como entonces, se ven directamente implicadas.

One of the issues that, in recent times, has gained prominence and actuality is that of the role of the head of state in what affects the investiture of the Prime Minister, especially when the parliamentary spectrum is deeply fragmented. This situation, although it had not occurred in our current democracy until very recently, it was in our near past, especially in the Second Republic. In this article, the focus will be on the Republican head of State in the difficult situation of meeting the challenges arising from a parliament with a mosaic of political forces, which will allow to put into perspective the delicate relationship between the institutions that, now as then, are directly involved.
