Resumen de Phatos a ultranza: Una lectura de Kierkegaard y Bataille

En Migajas filosóficas, Johannes Climacus presenta el pathos socrático y el pathosdel instante como la base de diversas formas de pensamiento: la de la tradición filosófica y la que el seudónimo asume como propia. Recuperaremos éstos como pathos ilustrado y pathos cristiano, respectivamente, así como a las propuestas de Bataille y Kierkegaard en quienes ahondaremos como autores representati-vos de cada forma de pensamiento. Más que centrarnos en las coincidencias o divergencias específicas entre los autores, se busca presentarlos como ejemplos representativos y a ultranza de cada pathos y, por ende, de hacer filosofía.

In Philosophical Fragments, Kierkegaard’s pseudonym Johannes Climacuspresents socratic pathos and instant pathos as the basis of different kinds of thought: the thought of philosophical tradition and the thought that the pseud-onym assumes as its own. This article will recall and characterize these different pathos as illustrated pathos and christian pathos, respectively. It will also recall the approach of Bataille and Kierkegaard as exemplar authors of each kind of thought. Our aim is to feature them as representative and ultimate examples of each kind of pathos and thus, of doing philosophy, more than trying to convey specific coincidences or differences between both authors.
