Este ensayo se centra en la “espacialización” de la subcultura urbana especial del Gay Village, pero desde un enfoque diferente. Al analizar la información encontrada en los censos de 1991, 1996, y 2001 de la ciudad de Montreal, podremos presentar un argumento cuantitativo sobre las respuestas, reacciones, y constricciones impuestas sobre la subcultura del área de estudio por parte de la cultura dominante

This essay is focused in the “fieldization“ of the special urban subculture of the Gay Village, but from a different approach. When analyze the found information in the census of 1991, 1996, and 2001 from Montreal city, we would present a quantitative argument about the answers, reactions, and constrictions imposed over the subculture from the study area by the dominant culture.
