En pleno proceso de reestruturación global por parte da Xunta, obrigada polo Tribunal Supremo, das concesións de transporte público interurbano por estrada, o artigo analiza como se produciu en 1968 en Vigo e o Val de Miñor a substitución dos tranvías por autobuses e como se está a xestionar o novo cambio de modelo. The process of global reorganization implemented by the Xunta in the system of public transport, following directions from the Supreme Court, is studied in the essay, that analyses the substitution of trams with buses between Vigo and Val Miñor in 1968 and gives a view on how the issue is being dealt with now.
The article offers an analysis of the means of transport and the infrastructures, as well as of the political decisions that may affect them.
