Resumen de Análisis de una guía en exelearning en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los estudiantes del instituto tecnológico superior tecnoecuatoriano

Tomando en cuenta que la tecnología y la información representan innovación en la educación, se hizo un estudio con el fin de analizar la herramienta de autor eXeLearning como guía para alumnos del Instituto Tecnológico Superior Tecnoecuatoriano. En el uso de esta herramienta se empleó como referente teórico la relación entre la enseñanza y el aprendizaje como un proceso significativo de aprendizaje. Para esto se tomó como fundamento la teoría de Vygotsky, que hace énfasis en cómo el alumno, mediado por el docente como facilitador del constructo, puede integrar los aprendizajes nuevos con los ya existentes para elaborar un conocimiento nuevo, y acceder a un aprendizaje autónomo. El software eXeLearning se usó como guía en la asignatura de Medio Ambiente, puesto que sirve como herramienta y estrategia metodológica para ser usada en la recolección de datos tanto en el aula como fuera de ella. Se aplicó una encuesta estructurada a una muestra de docentes y estudiantes del tercer semestre de la carrera de Mecánica Automotriz del Instituto Tecnológico Superior Tecnoecuatoriano, con la que se determinó que el uso de la herramienta eXeLearning produce un cambio en la práctica de la enseñanza por parte de los docentes, ya que rompe estructuras y lleva al docente al uso de la innovación en el proceso de enseñanza. Por otro lado, los alumnos conocen la tecnología y valoran el uso de esta herramienta en el aula, ya que esta propició una motivación extra al momento de aprender y formar conocimiento.

Taking into account that technology and information is innovation in education, a study was made in order to analyze the eXeLearning author tool as a guide for students, the Instituto Tecnológico Supe-rior Tecnoecuatoriano, the use of this tool, was used as theoretical reference the relationship between teaching and learning as a meaningful learning process, where Vygotsky’s theory was taken as a basis, emphasizing how the student can integrate the new learning with the already existing and de-velop a new knowledge, this mediated by the teacher as a facilitator of the construct, for autonomous learning. The eXeLearning software was used as a guide in the subject of the Environment, since it serves as a tool and methodological strategy to be used in data collection both in the classroom and outside it. A structured survey was applied to a sample of teachers and students of the third semes-ter of the career of Automotive Mechanics of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior Tecnoecuatoriano , with which it was determined that the use of the eXeLearning tool produces a change in the practice of teaching by the teachers as it breaks structures and leads to teaching the use of innovation in the teaching process. On the other hand, students know the technology and value the use of this tool in the classroom, as this led to an extra motivation when learning and forming knowledge.
