Resumen: En este artículo propongo un análisis de Mis dos mundos y Modo linterna del escritor argentino Sergio Chejfec (1956-2022) desde una perspectiva intermedial. Con el objetivo de reflexionar sobre los efectos que produce el encuentro entre la imagen y el texto en términos no-literales y cómo se conecta la experiencia visual y verbal en estos dos casos particulares. La primera parte está dedicada a definir el concepto de referencia intermedial y a su contextualización en un campo teórico más amplio. Luego abordaré la écfrasis en tanto ejemplo paradigmático de esta forma de intermedialidad y estrategia fundamental en las obras estudiadas. Hacia el final del texto, presento el análisis de las referencias intermediales, a los dibujos del artista sudafricano William Kentridge en Mis dos mundos, y a la fotografía en Modo linterna.

Abstract: In this article I propose an analysis of Mis dos mundos and Modo linterna, by the Argentinean writer Sergio Chejfec (1956-2022) from an intermedial perspective. The aim is to reflect on the effects produced by the encounter between image and text in non-literal terms and how the visual and verbal experience is connected in these two cases. The first part is dedicated to defining the concept of intermedial reference and contextualizing it in a broader theoretical field. I then address the ekphrasis as a paradigmatic example of this form of intermediality and a fundamental strategy in the works studied. Towards the end of the text, I present the analysis of the intermedial references to the drawings of the South African artist William Kentridge in Mis dos mundos, and to photography in Modo linterna.
