Resumen de La trashumancia en Asturias: Una aproximación transdisciplinar a su estudio y gestión patrimonial

  Este trabajo examina las características de la trashumancia como elemento patrimonial de carácterinmaterial. Las prácticas trashumantes reconocibles en Asturias sirven de base para la reflexión, con elobjetivo de informar debates de mayor alcance relacionados con la investigación y la gestión delPatrimonio Cultural Inmaterial. Al considerar las bases que definen la trashumancia, se señala ladificultad de reducir su caracterización a determinados aspectos materiales o inmateriales, ensalzando sutransversalidad, que necesariamente debe superar la dicotomía material/inmaterial para enriquecer losdebates en torno a su conocimiento científico y reforzar los modelos de gobernanza que afectan a susalvaguarda. Las prácticas trashumantes suponen un objeto de atención que desborda los límitestradicionales de las disciplinas científicas. Su investigación debe ser abordada desde bases teóricometodológicas transdisciplinares. Sólo así se identificarán puntos de encuentro que catalicen estudios máscomplejos de esta manifestación. Del mismo modo, la adopción de una mirada transdisciplinar reforzarála colaboración entre diferentes departamentos e instituciones relevantes para su gestión.

  This paper examines the characteristics of transhumance as an intangible heritage element. Transhumantpractices in Asturias (north of Spain) serve as a basis for reflection, aiming to inform wider debates relatedto Intangible Cultural Heritage research and management. When considering the basis that definestranshumance, we point out how difficult it is to reduce its characterisation to certain tangible or intangibleaspects, highlighting its transversality. Thus, the tangible/intangible dichotomy must be overcomed toenrich the debate surrounding its scientific knowledge, while reinforcing governance models affecting itssafeguarding. Transhumance goes beyond the traditional limits of scientific disciplines. Research on thismanifestation must adopt transdisciplinary theoretical and methodological basis. Only in this way, we maybe able to set up common ground that will enable more complex studies. In the same way, adopting atransdisciplinary approach will strengthen collaboration between the relevant departments and institutionsfor its management.
