Resumen de Las FARC: fuentes de su longevidad y de la conservación de su cohesión

Este artículo tiene como objetivo dar cuenta de la longevidad y la cohesión de la principal organización de las guerrillas en Colombia, las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC). El texto inicia con un rápido recuento histórico de las FARC y realiza una exposición de fenómenos significativos en las diferentes fases organizativas de este grupo guerrillero. Al final reflexiona sobre las estrategias de guerra, la temporalidad y las relaciones con el entorno político y social colombiano e internacional, que le han permitido a las FARC mantenerse como organización activa durante las últimas cuatro décadas.

This article analyzes the longevity and the cohesion of the principal organization of the guerrilla in Colombia, the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). The text initiates with a rapid historical inventory of the FARC and realizes a presentation of significant phenomena in the different organizational phases of this guerrilla group. Ultimately, the article thinks about the strategies of war, the temporality and the relations with the political and social Colombian and international environment, environment that allowed to the FARC to continue as active organization during the last four decades.
