  Se da a conocer la diversidad natural y cultural del Complejo Arqueológico (CA) de Narihualá, región Piura, Perú, sobre los 100 m de altitud. Se realizaron dos visitas al complejo con periodicidad irregular entre mayo y junio del 2023. Se aplicaron metodologías específicas para el reconocimiento arqueológico, recolecciones botánicas e identificación de avifauna, aplicando el método del transecto y búsqueda intensiva a través de rutas en matorrales, pastizales y remanentes de bosque en el complejo arqueológico. Para la determinación y categorización de las especies, se utilizó normas y literatura especializada para cada taxón evaluado. El CA de Narihualá se encuentra cerca del pueblo de Narihualá, tiene una arquitectura en adobe y barro perteneciente a los periodos: Periodo Intermedio Temprano, Periodo Intermedio Tardío, Horizonte Tardío. La flora estuvo representada por 36 especies, 33 géneros, 20 familias. Así mismo, se registraron 10 especies de aves distribuidas en 9 familias y 8 órdenes.

  Our objective was to recognized the natural and cultural diversity of the Archaeological Complex (AC) of Narihuala, Piura region, Peru. We performed ten visits to the complex between may and june 2023. We applied specific methodologies for archaeological recognition, botanical collections and bird diversity identification, applying the transect and intensive search methods through scrubland, grassland and forest remnant in the routes of the immediate vicinity of the archaeological complex. For the determination and categorization of species, we used specialized standards and literature for each taxon evaluated. The AC of Narihuala is located near the town of Narihuala and It has architecture in mud and mud blocks belonging to the Early architecture that belongs to the Early Intermediate Period, Late Intermediate Period, Late Horizon and it consists of eight sectors. The flora was represented by 36 species, belonging to 33 genera and 20 families. Likewise, 10 species of birds distributed in 9 families and 8 orders were registered.
