    El presente estudio se propone examinar los fundamentos retórico-culturales del Romancero nuevo a través de una específica orientación metodológica propuesta por el profesor Tomás Albaladejo: la Retórica Cultural. El elemento de la cultura resuelve una proyección central en el sistema retórico-literario del romance nuevo. Los componentes históricos y temáticos del romance fronterizo de la tradición, así como la sátira estético-artística del romancero morisco, van pergeñando las peculiaridades estructurales y funcionales del Romancero nuevo en el seno de un sistema semiótico totalizador con el concepto de cultura como cauce comunicativo en la construcción de identidades y sociedades. El estudio retórico-cultural de los romanceros de Lope de Vega y Góngora permite precisar bajo qué condiciones tiene lugar el concierto con la realidad histórica.

    The present study intends to examine the rhetorical-cultural foundations of the new Romancero through a specific methodological orientation proposed by Professor Tomás Albaladejo: Cultural Rhetoric. The element of culture resolves a central projection in the rhetorical-literary system of the new ballads. The historical and thematic components of the traditional border ballad, as well as the aesthetic-artistic satire of the Moorish ballads, shape the structural and functional peculiarities of the new Ballads within a totalizing semiotic system with the concept of culture as a communicative channel in the construction of identities and societies. The rhetorical-cultural study of the ballads of Lope de Vega and Góngora makes it possible to specify under what conditions the concert with historical reality takes place.
