Resumen de La Violencia y lo Virtual en la Clínica Psicoanalítica Desde el Mito de Tiresias

  La violencia es constitutiva del sujeto, tanto que no hay sujeto sin violencia, esto es, de aquello que irrumpe de un afuera en el que se establece al gran Otro como impositor del significante amo: guía del deseo también inscrita desde esa exterioridad. Ni significante ni deseo son, propiamente, pertenencias del sujeto, sino apropiaciones desde el Otro. ¿Qué es entonces lo que podría sugerirse como producción del sujeto? Aquello que resulta como efecto de la voz del Otro en el lenguaje, y algo de esa producción se denomina lo virtual, no como un fenómeno, sino como una intensidad que guarda una singularidad frente a la pulsión y a la potencia, y por ello se distingue de lo posible y del destino. En nuestros días es imprescindible atender no sólo la presencia de la violencia y de lo virtual por separado en el sujeto, sino observar sus vinculaciones entre sí para desentrañar en la interpretación psicoanalítica sus expresiones en los grupos sociales.

  Violence is constitutive of the subject, so much so that there is no subject without violence, that is, of that which erupts from an outside in which the great Other is established as the impositor of the master signifier: guide of desire also inscribed from that exteriority. Neither signifier nor desire are, properly speaking, belongings of the subject, but rather appropriations from the Other. What then could be suggested as the production of the subject? That which results as an effect of the voice of the Other in language, and something of that production, is called the virtual, not as a phenomenon, but as an intensity that maintains a singularity in the face of drive and power, and for this reason it is distinguished of the possible and of destiny. Nowadays it is essential to attend not only to the presence of violence and the virtual separately in the subject, but also to observe their links between themselves to unravel their expressions in social groups in psychoanalytic interpretation.
