Propuesta de Intervención Basada en la Relación entre la Memoria de Trabajo y el Desempeño en Matemáticas

    El presente artículo presenta una propuesta de intervención que surge como resultado de una investigación que tiene como objetivo general determinar la relación que existe entre la memoria de trabajo y el desempeño en matemáticas en los grados terceros de las instituciones educativas Bolívar de Ubaté y Sagrado Corazón de Jesús de Chiquinquirá; un estudio correlacional enmarcado dentro de un paradigma investigativo positivista y centrado en un enfoque cuantitativo, en el que se aplican las pruebas de dígitos inversos y ordenamiento de números y letras en su versión span y de puntaje total para la variable de memoria de trabajo y las notas obtenidas por los estudiantes durante el año lectivo para la variable de desempeño en matemáticas, encontrándose que, aplicando el Coeficiente de correlación de Pearson se halló una puntuación de 0.43, 0.54, 0.55 y 0.57 de significancia, lo que representa que existe una correlación moderada entre las variables.

    This article presents an intervention proposal that arises as a result of a research whose general objective is to determine the relationship that exists between working memory and performance in mathematics in the third grades of the Bolívar de Ubaté and Sagrado Corazón de Ubaté educational institutions. Jesus of Chiquinquirá; a correlational study framed within a positivist research paradigm and focused on a quantitative approach, in which the reverse digit and ordering of numbers and letters tests are applied in their span version and total score for the working memory variable and the grades obtained by the students during the school year for the performance variable in mathematics, finding that, applying the Pearson correlation coefficient, a score of 0.43, 0.54, 0.55 and 0.57 of significance was found, which represents that there is a moderate correlation between the variables.
