Resumen de El Yagé como Estrategia Pedagógica para Concientizar y Fortalecer la Práctica de Medicina Tradicional y la Conservación del Territorio de la Comunidad de Villa Hermosa

  El objetivo de la presente investigación fue proponer el yagé como estrategia pedagógica para concientizar y fortalecer la práctica de medicina tradicional y la conservación del territorio de la comunidad de Villa Hermosa, considerando que en la comunidad hay médicos tradicionales tomadores de yagé quienes haciendo uso de este, trabajan por seguir sus tradiciones; curando, fortaleciendo y compartiendo sus conocimientos, concientizando a su comunidad para que respeten y valoren sus tradiciones, los recursos que brinda la madre tierra, haciendo de ellos una comunidad fortalecida en valores culturales. Para esto se aplica la metodología cualitativa y por medio de entrevistas, diarios de campo aplicados en una muestra de 11 personas. Además, la investigación tiene un enfoque hermenéutico – narrativo quienes “se interesan en los modos como los humanos dan significado a su mundo mediante el lenguaje”. Este enfoque también permitió comprender más a profundidad su historia, ya que ellos son autores de sus propias vivencias y las dan a conocer a través de sus testimonios, narraciones, experiencias y relatos. Con esto se logró entender su forma de pensar, actuar, de relacionarse con la naturaleza. Se obtuvo respuestas significativas en la forma de entender y comprender los cambios favorables y desfavorables que se pueden dar en la vida y la salud, están dispuestos a portarle a su cultura y territorio siguiendo el camino del aprendizaje por medio del yagé.

  The objective of this research is to propose yagé as a pedagogical strategy to raise awareness and strengthen the practice of traditional medicine and the conservation of the territory of the community of Villa Hermosa, considering that in the community there are traditional doctors who take Yagé who make use of this, they work to follow their traditions; healing, strengthening and sharing their knowledge, raising awareness in their community so that they respect and value their traditions, the resources that Mother Earth provides, making them a community strengthened in cultural values. For this, qualitative methodology is applied and through interviews, field diaries applied to a sample of 11 people. Furthermore, the research has a hermeneutic-narrative approach who "are interested in the ways in which humans give meaning to their world through language." This approach also allowed for a more in-depth understanding of their history, since they are the authors of their own experiences and make them known through their testimonies, narratives, experiences and stories. With this, it was possible to understand their way of thinking, acting, and relating to nature. Significant responses were obtained in the way of understanding and understanding the favorable and unfavorable changes that can occur in life and health, they are willing to bring it to their culture and territory following the path of learning through Yagé.
