    El texto aborda el tema del paramilitarismo en la región del Urabá entre los años de 1994 a 1997. La investigación hace un análisis de la configuración paramilitar en la zona. Se estudió el territorio de acuerdo con tres sub regiones, planteando que en cada una de ellas la configuración paramilitar fue diferenciada. En el Norte de la región hubo una configuración de dominio sin resistencia, en el Eje Bananero se presentó una configuración de dominio con resistencia, y el sur del Urabá y en el Urabá chocoano una invasión con resistencia.

    This article addresses the topic of paramilitarism in the Uraba region between 1994 and 1997, offering an analysis of the paramilitary configuration in the region. This study analyzes the territory in three sub-regions and proposes that paramilitary configuration in each was different. In Northern Uraba there was a configuration of domination without resistance; in the Banana-producing Uraba, there was a configuration of domination with resistance; and in Southern Uraba and the Uraba in Choco there was an invasion with resistance.
