Revisión, propuesta de catálogo y prospectiva de estudio de la prensa murciana

    Se compila y examina la literatura publicada sobre la prensa murciana con el objetivo de: 1) ofrecer un catálogo de títulos útil para futuros investigadores; 2) considerar la naturaleza y temáticas recurrentes de los estudios existentes; y 3) señalar posibles vías de estudio que contribuirían a ampliar y profundizar las investigaciones actuales. El resultado de nuestro trabajo –basado en la revisión bibliográfica de los títulos disponibles en los repositorios bibliográficos Dialnet, Google Académico y Catálogo de la Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias y Científicas (REBIUN)– cartografía la investigación sobre la prensa murciana y constata una notable producción. Se relacionan un total de 239 trabajos, de los cuales: 66 son monografías o capítulos de libros, 93 artículos publicados en revistas científicas, 45 artículos de divulgación en prensa y 31 trabajos universitarios, que se dedican, mayoritariamente, a testimoniar la historia de cabeceras (36,4 %) o periodistas murcianos emblemáticos (31 %) y visibilizar el comportamiento de la prensa murciana ante hitos o etapas destacadas de la Historia (8,8 %). Se reflexiona sobre la necesidad de emprender nuevas investigaciones relacionadas, entre otras cuestiones, con la evolución de la prensa regional en su conjunto y su influencia en la creación de una identidad murciana, el papel de la mujer en la historia del periodismo murciano, el desarrollo de los medios audiovisuales o la redefinición de la prensa en el ecosistema informativo digital en la Región de Murcia

    The literature published on the Murcian press is compiled and examined with the aim of: 1) offering a catalogue of titles useful for future researchers; 2) considering the nature and recurrent themes of existing studies; and 3) pointing out possible avenues of study that would contribute to broadening and deepening current research. The result of our work - based on a bibliographic review of the titles available in the bibliographic repositories Dialnet, Google Scholar and the Catalogue of the Network of University and Scientific Libraries (REBIUN) - maps the research on the Murcian press and shows a remarkable production. A total of 239 works are listed, of which: 66 are monographs or book chapters, 93 articles published in scientific journals, 45 articles published in the press and 31 university works, which are mainly evoted to testifying the history of emblematic Murcian newspapers (36.4%) or journalists (31%) and making visible the behaviour of the Murcian press in the face of milestones or important stages of history (8.8%). It reflects on the need to undertake new research related, among other issues, to the evolution of the regional press as a whole and its influence on the creation of a Murcian identity, the role of women in the history of Murcian journalism, the development of the audiovisual media and the redefinition of the press in the digital information ecosystem in the Region of Murcia
