  El presente estudio hace una revisión histórica, pormenorizada, de las fuentes bibliográficas que recogen los testimonios autóctonos mesoamericanos, tanto los de carácter histórico, como los de carácter bibliográfico; parte de los trabajos de rescate coetáneos a la conquista y llega hasta las últimas recopilaciones hechas en el siglo xx de autores indígenas contemporáneos.

  The study herein reviews the bibliographical sources on a historical, yet elaborated, basis that gather Mesoamerican autochthonous testimonies, both from the historic and bibliographical standpoints, all of which are part of the rescue works, con· temporary to the conquest and goes all the way to those compilations of contemporary indigenous authors in the 201h Century.
