Uno de los temas fundamentales de la poesía de Luis Cardoza y Aragón es su discurso metafórico. Si estudiamos el sentido de las imágenes y sus representaciones iconográficas podremos entender las intenextualidades con algunos poemas de Federico García Larca. El propósito de este ensayo es analizar la textura de las metáforas de la Pequeña sinfonía del Nuevo Mundo.

One of the fundamental subjects in Luis Carodoza y A ragón 's poetry is his metaphoric speech. Should we study the sense of the images and their iconographic representation, we shall understand the intertextual references with certain poems by Federico Carda Larca. The purpose of this essay is to analyze the texture of the foregoing metaphors in the Pequeña sinfonía del Nuevo Mundo.
