Resumen de Investimento em energias renováveis e seus efeitos sobre o PIB brasileiro (2002 - 2020)

  The growing technological development, coupled with the increase in population density, has resulted in energy crises and led countries to seek adaptations through the use of alternative energy sources. The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of investments in renewable energy (RE) on the GDP of Brazil between 2002 and 2020. Methodologically, this research is characterized as quantitative/exploratory and explanatory through the use of simple regression analysis technique. The results show that there was a growth of 235.85% in investments in RE during the years 2002 and 2020 and that these investments in renewable energy predict the variation of Brazilian GDP, that is, the model is able to explain 0.038% of the dependent variable. It is concluded that RE sources have a positive impact on the country's growth, although it is still relatively low.

  O crescente desenvolvimento tecnológico, alinhado ao aumento da densidade populacional, resultou em crises energéticas e levou os países a procurar adaptações com o uso das fontes de energias alternativas. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar os efeitos dos investimentos em energias renováveis (ER) sobre o PIB do Brasil entre 2002 e 2020. Em termos metodológicos, esta pesquisa caracteriza-se como quantitativa/exploratória e explicativa por meio da utilização da técnica de análise de regressão simples. Os resultados mostram que ocorreu crescimento de 235,85% nos investimentos em ER durante os anos de 2002 e 2020 e que esses investimentos em energias renováveis preveem a variação do PIB brasileiro, ou seja, o modelo consegue explicar 0,038% da variável dependente. Conclui-se que as fontes de ER têm impacto positivo no crescimento do país, embora seja, ainda, relativamente baixo.
