  As feiras livres são espaços que permitem aos agricultores familiares a comercialização dos produtos que a família produz na propriedade rural. A partir da teoria institucional, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo central compreender como se deu a trajetória institucional da associação de feirantes de Francisco Beltrão. De forma específica buscou-se i): Compreender como as associações se formaram; ii) Identificar as regras e restrições existentes; iii) Analisar se as regras e restrições existentes são cumpridas. De acordo com o objetivo proposto para este trabalho esta é uma pesquisa descritiva, de natureza qualitativa, cujo procedimento adotado é um estudo de campo. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de entrevistas e análise documental. Os resultados indicaram que a associação foi criada devido a necessidade de organização e de buscar reivindicações junto a órgãos responsáveis. Foi identificada a existência de regras formais e restrições informais na associação que estão descritas no estatuto desta, no seu regimento interno e nas leis municipais, no entanto, nem sempre são seguidas por todos os membros da associação.

  Free fairs are spaces that allow family farmers to sell the products that the family produces on the rural property. Based on institutional theory, this research aimed to understand how the institutional trajectory of Francisco Beltrão's association of fairgrounds took place. Specifically, we sought to i): Understand how associations were formed; ii) Identify existing rules and restrictions; iii) Analyze whether existing rules and restrictions are complied with. According to the objective proposed for this work, this is a descriptive research, of a qualitative nature, whose procedure adopted is a field study. Data collection was performed through interviews and document analysis. The results indicated that the association was created due to the need to organize and seek claims from the responsible bodies. It was identified the existence of formal rules and informal restrictions in the association that are described in its statute, in its internal regiment and in the municipal laws, however, they are not always followed by all the members of the association.
