Resumen de La Inteligencia Artificial como elemento disruptivo para consolidar el cambio del paradigma educativo

El impacto de la tecnología en los últimos años ha sido profundo, tanto en la sociedad española como en el resto del mundo. Las diferentes industrias han experimentado una transformación sin precedentes, impulsada por la integración de la tecnología y de herramientas en la gestión de las empresas. Conceptos como Big Data, Inteligencia Artificial (IA), Internet de las Cosas (IoT), Blockchain, Robótica, Realidad Extendida y Analíticas de Aprendizaje se han integrado de manera habitual en la economía, en el ámbito de los negocios, en las áreas de marketing e inteligencia de negocio y, de manera emergente, en el sector educativo. En este último sector se comienza a hablar de la Educación 5.0, un nuevo paradigma donde se propone que el alumno debe situarse en el centro del aprendizaje y donde se beneficie de la potencialidad de la tecnología a través de las analíticas de aprendizaje digitales.
Es relevante destacar que el contexto tecnológico actual es altamente dinámico e impredecible. Los avances en IA pueden cambiar o generar nuevas aplicaciones que dejen obsoletas los actuales desarrollos.
El presente artículo ofrece una visión holística de la Inteligencia Artificial, desde sus inicios hasta sus aplicaciones actuales, destacando las iniciativas gubernamentales más recientes. Además, se examinan las implicaciones de la IA desde una perspectiva ética y desde la responsabilidad social y sostenibilidad.
El desarrollo del artículo se centra en la creciente relevancia de la IA en el sector educativo. Se explora su potencial transformador al desafiar las prácticas educativas tradicionales. La accesibilidad y facilidad de uso de las herramientas de IA han dado lugar a diversas aplicaciones que requieren una reconsideración del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la enseñanza formal. El análisis destaca cómo la IA está ocupando un lugar destacado en la esfera educativa, generando cambios estructurales y propiciando la tan esperada transformación educativa.

The impact of technology has been profound in recent years , both in Spanish society and in the rest of the world. Different industries have experienced an unprecedented transformation, driven by the integration of technology and tools in business management. Concepts such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Robotics, Extended Reality and Learning Analytics have been regularly integrated into the economy, in the field of business, in the areas of marketing and business intelligence and, emergingly, in the educational sector.
In this last sector, people are beginning to talk about Education 5.0, a new paradigm where it is proposed that the student should be placed at the centre of learning and where they benefit from the potential of technology through digital learning analytics.
It is relevant to highlight that the current technological context is highly dynamic and unpredictable. Advances in AI can change or generate new applications that make current developments obsolete.
In this paper we offer a holistic view of Artificial Intelligence, from its beginnings to its current applications, underlying the most recent government initiatives. In addition, the implications of AI are considered from an ethical perspective and from social responsibility and sustainability.
The central development of the paper focuses on the growing relevance of AI in the educational sector. Its transformative potential is explored by challenging traditional educational practices. The accessibility and ease of use of AI tools have given rise to various applications that require a reconsideration of the teaching-learning process in formal education.
The analysis highlights how AI is occupying a prominent place in the educational sphere, generating structural changes and promoting the long-awaited educational transformation.
