Resumen de A diversificação na carteira de pautas da FolhaInvest: uma análise de textos sobre investimentos

When it comes to investment, one of the principles pointed out by specialists is portfolio diversification. In economic journalism, to meet the diverse interests of the public, the plurality of subjects is a key element. The same goes for a specific editorial on investments, such as FolhaInvest, published weekly in Folha de S.Paulo. Using the Content Analysis of Bardin (2011), this study points out the variety of guidelines about investments by FolhaInvest, noting a trend towards plurality. On the other hand, the articles on fixed and variable income present more technical texts aimed at people familiar with the financial market, excluding the majority of the population that is not financially literate.

Quando o assunto é investimento, um dos princípios apontados por especialistas é a diversificação da carteira. No jornalismo econômico, para atender aos diversos interesses do público, a pluralidade de assuntos é elemento-chave. O mesmo princípio vale para uma editoria específica sobre investimentos, como é o caso da FolhaInvest, publicada semanalmente na Folha de S.Paulo. Valendo-se da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin (2011) esse estudo aponta a variedade de pautas sobre investimentos da FolhaInvest, constatando uma tendência à pluralidade. Por outro lado, as reportagens sobre renda fixa e variável apresentam textos mais técnicos voltados para pessoas familiarizadas com o mercado financeiro, excluindo a maioria da população que não é alfabetizada financeiramente.
