El respeto por los Derechos Lingüisticos en la Educación Paraguaya

    El presente trabajo "el respeto de los derechos lingüísticos en la educación paraguaya", se propone como objetivo realizar un rápido y breve análisis de la realidad sociolingüística del país y la propuesta educativa para dicha realidad tan particular. En tan breve presentación se puede visualizar claramente que la propuesta educativa para los/as paraguayos/as, cuya lengua materna es el guaraní, es la de ser alfabetizados en castellano, como siempre se ha hecho, a pesar de que la Constitución Nacional disponga explícitamente en su articulo 77 que los niños y niñas sean alíabetizados en su lengua materna. Los/as paraguayos/as de lengua materna guaraní siguen esperando tener los mismos derechos de aquellos cuya lengua materna es el castellano. Los documentos (Constitución, Leyes, programas, currículum) están preparados para otorgar este derecho, pero su aplicación efectiva es aún una utopía.

    The present work "Respect for the linguistic rights of the Paraguayan education" has as its objective to make a brief and quick analysis of the sociolinguistic reality of the country, and the educational proposition for such particular reality. Even in this short presentation we can see clearly that the educational proposition for Paraguayan people whose mother tongue is Guarani, they are being taught in Spanish like always they had been doing, even though the Paraguayan Constitution establishes in the article 77, that children have to receive education in their moíher tongue. Paraguayans who have guarani as their mother tongue are still waiting to have the same rights as the ones who have Spanish as their mother tongue. The documents (Constitution, laws, programs, and curriculum) are prepared to grant this right butthe effective use ofthose is still a utopia.
