Feminismos en el espectáculo: El verano en que celebrities y activistas compartieron el living de Intrusos

    En este trabajo analizamos las emisiones de Intrusos en el espectáculo durante el verano de 2018, para indagar sobre la tematización del feminismo en los programas de chimentos de la televisión argentina. A partir de denuncias en el campo mediático, Intrusos abrió su agenda para debatir al aire extensamente sobre feminismo con famosas del espectáculo y con referentes políticas del movimiento.

    La exposición de las intimidades de las famosas permitió denunciar cómo el modelo de producción de la televisión estaba atravesado por divisiones de poder patriarcales naturalizadas. Se dio una alianza coyuntural entre activistas y celebrities, que impulsan y exigen un tratamiento favorable del tema en los medios de comunicación tradicionales. Para sistematizar el contenido, construimos categorías donde agrupamos las narrativas identificadas: invitadas, género y sexualidades, aborto, consentimiento, legitimidad de la víctima, y autoaprendizaje. Desde un análisis cualitativo de lo audiovisual, buscamos comprender el funcionamiento del género televisivo y la forma en la que se enunciaron -e invisibilizaron- estas temáticas.

    El feminismo contemporáneo argentino busca y construye momentos de permeabilidad de las demandas en los medios, en donde las activistas lograron instalar debates; atravesados por mecanismos de espectacularización y polémica que son constitutivos de estos modos de mediatización.

    In this paper we analyze the summer transmissions of Intrusos en el espectáculo in 2018. We inquire about how feminism is portrayed in celebrity gossip show in Argentinian TV. After feminist allegations, Intrusos opened their agenda on air in order to debate thoroughly about feminism with celebrities and political referents of the movement.

    The exposure of celebrity intimacies allowed the denouncement of the patriarchal influence on television production. A conjunctural alliance between activist and celebrities was formed, demanding a favorable treatment of the topic in traditional media. In order to systematize the content, we built categories where we grouped the identified narratives: guests, gender and sexuality, abortion, consent, the victim’s legitimacy and self-learning. From a qualitative analysis of the audiovisual, we try to understand the functioning of the television gender and the way these topics where enunciated -and invisibilized.

    Argentinian contemporary feminism looks for and builds permeability moments of their demands in media, where activist managed to install debates, marked by the spectacularization and controversy mechanisms that are constitutive of this mediatizations ways.
